Start with two scents
Two-component blends are easier to understand than complex mixtures. Pick one scent as the anchor and one as the modifier.
Use family contrast intentionally
Citrus can brighten woods or gourmands; green notes can add freshness; amber can add warmth; florals can soften or lift. These are starting points, not rules. See fragrance families explained.
Change ratios, not everything
If a 1:1 combination feels too sweet, reduce the sweeter component before introducing a third scent. Keeping variables controlled makes learning faster.
Use the product as directed
Only warm wax products in equipment designed for that purpose and follow the warmer and wax manufacturer’s instructions. Keep heated wax and warming devices away from children, pets, drafts and unstable surfaces.
