HMB Candles is a home-fragrance company centered on custom scent exploration. Its signature Hummingbird Fragrance Flight lets a customer experience individual fragrances, combine smaller melts, record favorite blends, and then submit a formula for a custom flameless candle or wax melts.

According to HMB’s current FAQ, a Flight includes three heart fragrances, smaller blending melts, complementary melts, blending tins, a vessel, a blend card, and a later custom fragrance product.

Materials and company claims
HMB currently describes its wax as a blend of coconut, soy and sunflower wax finished with beeswax, and describes its fragrance oils as phthalate-free, vegan and cruelty-free. Those are merchant claims; we have not independently laboratory-tested the materials.
HMB also states that $5 from every Fragrance Flight is donated to the Alzheimer’s Association. This charitable connection should not be interpreted as evidence that the product prevents, treats or reverses memory loss.
